BlueRibbon Aircraft™ represent the finest aircraft available for sale on the pre-owned market. With just a quick glance, discriminating buyers can focus on those aircraft that meet their demanding standards.
The following parameters must be met for an aircraft to be considered for enrollment in the BlueRibbon Aircraft™ Program:
- No known major damage history, gear-up landing history, or visible hail damage.
- Airframe time does not exceed 150% of fleet average as defined by the Aircraft BlueBook & Price Digest.
- Engine(s) time is less than 60% of manufacturer recommended TBO.
- Piston Aircraft Only: Engine(s) and/or propeller(s) have not been involved in a prop strike since the most recent engine and prop overhaul.
- Turbine Aircraft Only: Engine(s) are enrolled in an engine maintenance program (MSP, JSSI, TAP, etc.). Maintenance is tracked via an industry standard maintenance tracking program (CAMP, CESCOM, CMP, FlightDocs, BART, etc.).
- Inspection status (100 hour, Annual, Phase, etc.) is current.
- Airworthiness Directives compliance is current.
- Logs appear to be complete and original with all entries in English.
- The aircraft is equipped with a working auto pilot.
- The aircraft is equipped with a panel-mounted IFR GPS.
- IFR certification is current.
- Aircraft title is free from third-party liens or encumbrances (mechanics liens, tax liens, etc.).
- Compliance with all Federally mandated equipment upgrades.
- Paint and interior is in good or better condition (7 out of 10 or better).
